A new brand to go with a new space.

As promised, we added a few more recent pieces to the Erland family—an open house invitation, a proposal system, a pocket folder, and signage.

We have been working with Erland Construction, Inc. in Burlington, Mass. They wanted a fresh new contemporary look and they wanted to be able to launch it with their fresh new contemporary office space. We needed to differentiate them from their competitors so we decided a clean and simple look would be best. The logotype is based on a slightly extended version of Helvetica that has been cut and angled to create a fluid rhythm. These angles are represented throughout their new space. Since Erland is well respected in the industry and known for their high quality standards and value, we created a bold statement by incorporating a period. It’s confident, yet not overstated. For color, we kept a deep blue that was part of their previous identity, but brightened it and added a metallic silver plus a lighter blue to the palette. We are still creating and rolling out more pieces, so stay tuned…
