Putting our Thinking Caps On
Jim and MB donned their hard hats while refining a new brand identity for one of their newest clients in the construction market.
Refining a New Brand Identity
When working with our clients in the construction and the facilities services industries we need to imagine their brand Identity beyond the typical business card, website and Facebook ad applications. For safety reasons we must be certain the logo is easily identifiable on the job site by the foreman. For marketing purposes we must be certain the logo is easy to read and memorable on the banner that hangs from the skyscraper in progress and on the trucks as they drive by their potential audience in traffic.
"it is critical to examine every potential scenario of the identity before bringing your initial brand identity concepts to the table" states MB Jarosik, confounding partner at Kor group An identity process is always the toughest and most emotional for a client so taking the guesswork out of the equation really helps to move the project along. "we find showing the initial identity concepts along with sample brand identity applications helps the client envision how the brand program will play out and ultimately makes their decision process easier" states Jim Gibson, Associate and Designer at Kor group.
