 With years of experience in print production, project management, and graphic design, Catherine Korn understands that a project's success depends on many different groups working together seamlessly. She brings this understanding to her position as a design production manager at kor group. Catherine works with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), providing production and project management for the more than 25 projects that kor group develops for the hospital each year. Her responsibilities include maintaining project schedules; managing relationships with clients, printers, and other vendors; and keeping the kor group design team constantly up to date on the status of each BIDMC project. Catherine has over 10 years of experience in print production, most recently at The Pohly Company, a Boston-based custom publishing firm. There she oversaw a production department responsible for over 20 magazines, including publications for the Hannaford supermarket chain and Continental Airlines' in-flight magazine. Catherine has also worked as a freelance designer for a local event planner, developing invitations, programs, and other event materials. She holds a BS in Studio Art/Graphic Design from Skidmore College, where she also minored in art history. |
