![]() Jim Gibson translates graphic design into art, using his keen eye for detail and color to create work that is sophisticated and effective. As an associate at kor group, he has completed scores of successful projects in the education, healthcare, non-profit, and arts markets – acting as creative director, project manager, designer, and team leader. Since joining kor group in 1997, Jim has completed graduate admissions publications for Merrimack College, Emerson College, high-level donor relations materials for the Cambridge School of Weston, and was involved in a complete rebranding of the Beaver Country Day School that included a new logo and stationery system, website, viewbook, magazine, summer camp logo, and brochures. He's also completed projects for Berklee College of Music, Northeastern University, Ramapo College of New Jersey, and Union College in Schenectady, NY. His healthcare work includes annual reports for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and branding for both the practice and office building of Coastal Medical, a Rhode Island-based primary care physicians group. He has developed brand labels for The TJX Companies, parent of Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and HomeGoods; and materials for arts organizations including the Boston Ballet and the Huntington Theater Company. Jim studied graphic design at the Massachusetts College of Art, concentrating on publication design and typography. His work has been recognized at the AIGA BoNE Show and by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and has appeared in publications including Communication Arts, HOW, Graphis, Print, and American Corporate Identity. |
